How To Prepare Side A + Side B

Export two continuous audio files — one for Side A and one for Side B — as WAV or AIFF, then upload both files at checkout.
Step 1
Arrange Songs
Arrange songs into completed Side A and Side B audio programs
Arrange your songs into two continuous sides. Keep each side within the maximum runtime for your selected record size and speed.
One order includes one Side A + Side B program. Additional programs require a separate order.
Track Spacing: Add approximately 2 seconds of silence between songs. We use these silent sections to determine where track gaps are cut. If you do not include spacing, the side will play continuously without separate track gaps.
Track Gaps: We can create a maximum of 4 track gaps / 5 tracks per side.

If you require exact track-start or gap locations, please provide a PQ Sheet. Without a PQ Sheet, we use the silence in your completed Side A and Side B files to determine track-gap placement.
Maximum Runtime: Audio exceeding the published maximum side length for your selected size and speed may be faded out at the maximum runtime. Any remaining audio will not be cut.
Step 2
Export Audio Files
Export Side A and Side B as WAV or AIFF audio files
Export Side A.wav and Side B.wav as WAV or AIFF. Leave a clean fade-out at the end of each side.
Audio Format:

WAV or AIFF only. 44.1 kHz - 192 kHz. 24-bit preferred. 16-bit accepted.

Do not upload MP3 files. Do not upsample compressed audio to a higher sample rate or bit depth.
Your Files Set The Order: Your submitted Side A and Side B files are treated as your approved production files. Please make sure they contain the correct songs, versions, sequence, and side assignments before uploading.
Completed Side A + Side B: Included vinyl premastering is applied before cutting.

Individual mastered songs: Purchase Side Sequencing if you need us to assemble the tracks into completed Side A and Side B programs.

Songs that still need mastering: Purchase Vinyl Mastering and send the individual WAV or AIFF files after checkout.
Step 3
Upload Both Files
Upload Side A and Side B audio files during checkout
Upload both completed audio files at checkout and name them clearly:

Artist_SideA.wav
Artist_SideB.wav
Required: Files must be fully downloadable. Streaming links and social media links are not accepted.
Large Files?

If your files exceed the checkout upload limit, send them through WeTransfer to info@lathecutvinylrecords.com and include your order number.

We can also accept another fully downloadable direct-transfer link that does not require us to request access, sign in, or create an account.
Before You Submit:

Please make sure your Side A and Side B files contain the correct songs, order, and side assignments.

If exact track-start or gap locations are required, include a PQ Sheet with your project.

By submitting audio, you confirm that you have the legal right to reproduce the submitted material.
